Born and raised in Canyon, Texas, Cheney Veach has deep roots in the Amarillo community, with an expert understanding of the area’s geography and infrastructure. She holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from West Texas A&M University and spent three years working in emergency services dispatch, managing critical situations and ensuring smooth communication during high-pressure events. Cheney’s in-depth knowledge of Amarillo and her strong communication skills have made her a trusted resource in both routine and emergency scenarios.
Outside of her professional life, Cheney is a devoted pet owner, caring for her cats, Toast and Jett, as well as her dog, Bones. She is married to her wonderful husband, Cobe, whom she has known since high school. Cheney is committed to enhancing her hometown and supporting its growth by providing citizens with empathy and zeal.
